It’s amazing how quickly you can fill up 100gb. I started running out of space on my Macbook Pro and decided to start some ‘spring cleaning’ if you will.
Now, I love iTunes and I’m sure this is something that will be changed in Snow Leopard – at least I can hope.
After running Xslimmer I shaved nearly 100mb off of iTunes alone. This is just removing language and PPC bianaires from the app!
If iTunes is this slim in the future maybe it won’t eat so much RAM.

Proof that 1) some photos are all in the timing. 2) Spring is getting near.

As I’ve been uploading these photos from my Dad’s old albums something interesting has started.

Both my Dad and my Mom have been adding comments to the photos, filling in the information about each picture. It’s awesome.

I’ve been going through my Dad’s old photo albums and scanning in the pictures.

Lots of awesome gems in these albums.
The full set is over on my flickr page.
This is just the beginning. I hope to scan well over a hundred of these photos. The most interesting are the ones from my Dad’s trip to Alaska.
He and his Navy buddy, Jim Krupa, rode thier motorcycles from San Diego, through Washington, into Canada and then finally into Alaska. Their adventures are one of my Dad’s best told stories. Just ask him.
I’ve started plotting the interesting points on their journey on this Google map. My eventual plan is to mash all this information into one video or something.
